Below are a few reference values and diagrams for treble-bleed kits (volume kits), Eldred mod, and Arlo mod.
Treble-bleed mod, Treble Bypass, and Volume kits refer to the same thing. There are a few variations. Easy to make, cheap to buy pre-made.

Treble bleed values
1000-1500 pF capacitor: Lower values = higher frequencies, higher values = lower frequencies
100-330k-ohm resistor: lower impedances are brighter, higher impedances are darker

Arlo mod
Resistor 3k (3.3k ohm).
Cap 0.01uF
Cap 0.005uF
Eldred mod
A wiring diagram using the Eldred mod is here
Cap 4700 pF (0.0047 μF)
<4700 pF will result in more highs because less treble is bled to ground and vice versa.
A good range to tinker with is 1000 pF up to 6800 pF (0.001 - 0.0068)
